Join us for a hands‑on workshop designed to help entrepreneurs understand how to build strong banking relationships and navigate the full landscape of small business capital.
Bootstrapped to Bankable
We’ll start by breaking down the core components of a productive bank relationship—including the role of business accounts, treasury management tools, and merchant services in setting a solid financial foundation.
From there, we’ll explore the different types of capital available in today’s market, from traditional bank lending to micro‑financing and CDFI programs. Venture North will share how CDFIs support early‑stage or credit‑building entrepreneurs and partner with banks to expand access to non-Venture Capital (VC) flexible funding.
Participants will walk away with clear, practical guidance on how to connect small businesses with the right financial tools at the right time.
This event is co-hosted by Venture North and Huntington Bank in partnership with 20Fathoms and the Northern Michigan Start Up Week happening April 20-24 in Traverse City.
This FREE event will include light food/refreshments.
