Everyone we should.

Financial Institutions.  We often work with other financial institutions like banks or credit unions.  Our ability to be flexible and take a subordinate position in financing can make the difference in the success or failure of a loan application.

Community Organizations.  We love partnering with organizations that know their communities far better than we do:  businesses of all sizes; Community Foundations; Chambers of Commerce; Economic Development Organizations; special business and industrial groups; municipal governments and locally elected officials - - everyone who can help.

We need community help in: connecting us with small businesses that can use our services; understanding community plans and opportunities; knowing who we should contact to learn more about a community; identifying new programs, projects or priorities we should consider; getting feedback on how we can do our jobs better.

Everyone.  We work with other organizations that are important to the success of our clients such as: SCORE; Small Business Development Center (SBDC); U.S. Small Business Administration; USDA-Rural Development; Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC); Mich. Dept. of Agriculture-Rural Development; Northern Lakes Economic Alliance (NLEA); Foundations and other philanthropic organizations; Michigan Municipal League; Network Northwest and others.

Effective partnering enables us to access more resources for our clients.  However, we do not measure success by the number of meetings we attend.  Our measures are the success of small business and their communities.
