Venture North is a regional nonprofit financing organization, and has been very involved with COVID relief efforts for local businesses. We have implemented secure processes to preserve confidentiality and analyze data. This information will be used to help better understand the urgent financial needs of the business community

These are extraordinary and threatening times. Venture North created the Regional Resiliency Fund to help Michigan businesses navigate Covid-19. The fund awards small grants to Lower Northwest Michigan businesses that have fewer than nine employees.

Since the initial $200,000 from the Consumers Energy Foundation, the RRF has distributed almost $400,000 to 100 small businesses. Further donations from foundations, corporations, and individuals will help provide our community with the resources it needs.
