About the RRP

These are extraordinary and threatening times. Venture North created the Regional Resiliency Program to help Michigan businesses navigate COVID-19. The fund awards small grants to Lower Northwest Michigan businesses that have fewer than nine employees.

Since the initial $200,000 from the Consumers Energy Foundation, the RRP is well on its way to distributing $1,000,000 to nearly 400 small businesses. Further donations from foundations, corporations, and individuals have helped provide our community with the resources it needs.

"Dealing with and adapting to the pandemic, Allen said, the store hasn’t 'really missed a beat.' And that’s resonated with patrons. 'Families are just really grateful that they’re able to have a fairly normal experience with their kids,' she said.'"
